Bait Baus is a village on the crest of a hill. A few miles out of the City of San'a', this beautifully built & well located collection of houses is now nearly totally abandoned. Just back from twelve days spent with some of the friendliest people I have ever met. The Yemeni stop you if you walk by when they are eating and will practically insist you join them in a meal. Fine people, fine country. This picture is looking down at the Summer Palace called Dar al Hajar in Wadi Dhar. Early morning, I got their for sunrise over this beautiful valley.
